A voyeur is someone who derives sexual pleasure from watching others engage in sexual (or even non-sexual) activity. The watching can happen with or without the watched person's consent - and sometimes the voyeur prefers it this way in particular.

Voyeurism has long had a bad name as a sexual practice because it has been associated with skulking, sneaky "Peeping Toms" who got kicks spying on unsuspecting 'victims'. Voyeurism can actually be quite safe and is a staple of sex clubs, parties and non-monogamous relationships.
